Export indoor rides to Strava as FIT files
RitmoSync records sessions locally on your device — nothing uploads to our servers. With Pro, export training history as CSV or FIT and add rides to Strava, TrainingPeaks, or any tool that accepts standard activity files.
Free vs Pro
- Free tier — live power, cadence, and zones during the ride. Metrics on screen only; sessions are not saved to history.
- Pro ($39.90 one-time) — full training history stored locally, plus CSV and FIT export per session.
No subscription. License validation is the only server call for Pro — ride data never leaves your device unless you export it.
How to export a session
- Complete a workout with RitmoSync Pro active — sessions save automatically when recording is enabled.
- Open Training history from the app menu.
- Select the session you want to export.
- Choose Export FIT or Export CSV — the file downloads to your device.
- Upload the FIT file to Strava: Upload → File on the Strava website or app.
Why FIT instead of manual entry?
FIT files carry second-by-second power, cadence, and duration — Strava calculates training load, zones, and power curves from the full record. CSV works for spreadsheets or tools that prefer tabular data; FIT is the standard for activity platforms. For TrainingPeaks, see our TrainingPeaks export guide.
Privacy note
Export is you choosing to share a file. RitmoSync does not sync rides to Strava automatically and does not store your history in the cloud. Use Download my data in the app menu to back up all local settings and sessions as JSON.
Typical workflow
Many riders use this stack:
- Structured intervals in RitmoSync (zones on screen, resistance adjusted manually)
- Export FIT when the session ends
- Upload to Strava for the training log and fitness charts
- Keep the local copy in RitmoSync history for review and re-export
